H&S Roofing and Gutter Company has been part of the fabric of Charlotte since the 1930s. What was once a glorified gold town has now become one of the booming-est cities in America, and we’re proud to call this little corner of Carolina home!
We think that giving back to our community is as important as working for it. There are so many opportunities to help right here in Charlotte and we take a lot of pride in being a community-oriented company. It’s why our employees spend so much time each year donating their time and services to causes in our immediate area.
Did you know, for example, that we regularly donate our time and resources to installing new roofs on properties for underprivileged individuals? During the Democratic National Convention here in Charlotte a few years back, we worked for days on a House United home in the Belmont neighborhood of Charlotte, all to serve a veteran. In fact, we take the service of our veterans so seriously we offer deep discounts under our “roofs for troops” program for active and retired military members.
Additionally, our team has spent time servicing Charlotte’s deserving with notable organizations in the area like Habitat for Humanity. Giving back is the least we can do for our neighbors here in Charlotte.
One of our favorite – and most fun! – causes to support is the upkeep of historical properties in the Charlotte vicinity. We’ve worked to repair and accurately replicate many historical roofs in the area, and we take these jobs very seriously. H&S Roofing and Gutter has worked on the Old Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, SC, on the Salisbury Train Station, the famous Brattonsville House in York County, SC, and even Charlotte’s own Latta Plantation.
We think it’s our duty to support the community that gives so much back to us. We live here, too! Charlotte home and business owners are the reason H&S Roofing and Gutter have been in business for so many decades, and it’s our honor to do all that we can to say thanks.
